David Pettigrew, CPA

Born and raised in Milledgeville, Georgia, Mr. Pettigrew graduated from Georgia College with a BBA in Accounting
in 1972 and an MBA in 1974. He opened his first firm located in downtown
Milledgeville in 1976 and became a CPA in 1982. Over the years, his success allowed him to outgrow his building downtown and he
relocated to a larger building where he is currently located at 150 Roberson Mill Rd. With over
35 years of experience, Mr. Pettigrew is a dedicated accountant,
financial and tax advisor who has
developed a strong relationship with the community and serves clients throughout the Middle Georgia region.

Derek Pettigrew, CPA

Derek, a partner of the firm, grew up in Milledgeville and graduated from Baldwin High School in 1996 and from Georgia College & State University in 2000. He double majored in General Business and Accounting. He joined our team in July,
2001 and became a CPA in 2006. He has over 10 years of tax experience with our firm and performs accounting
duties for over 30 small businesses in middle Georgia and Lake Oconee.

Leigh Chambers, CPA
|
A native of Candler County, Leigh graduated from University of Georgia, receiving a BBA in Accounting in 1988. She worked in public accounting for one year after graduating from college. After gaining experience in the accounting world, she went on to work for a private industry where she worked for 9 years. She joined our team in January 2005 as a tax preparer and staff accountant. Leigh obtained her CPA license in 2011.

Randy Pate

Randy has over 30 years of experience in business administration and operations. He graduated with a BBA in accounting from Georgia College & State University.
He has lived in Milledgeville since 2006. Randy and his wife, Jean, have three children and two grandchildren.

Sean Ware

Sean unknowingly began his career with Pettigrew & Pettigrew CPA's in 2010 when he accepted a tax season internship. While completeing his final year of college, he also performed another internship with another prominent CPA firm in Macon. In 2011, Sean came back to his roots to begin his full time career with our firm.

Norm Poirier, CPA
|
Norm received his BA and MBA in Accounting from Northwestern University and earned his CPA certificate from the University of Illinois. In the year 2000 he and his wife, Trudy, moved from Madrid, Spain to Hilton Head Island. There Norm continued his career as a CPA and joined a local firm, becoming a partner. He and his wife recently moved to Reynolds Plantation to be closer to their grandchildren. Norm is continuing his career with Pettigrew & Pettigrew.

Ann Moore

Ann graduated with her Masters in Accounting in 2011 and joined the firm that same year. She brings with her 25 years of payroll and accounting experience, primarily with small business around Greensboro / Lake Oconee. Ann currently provides accounting services to over 20 small business at our Lake Oconee office..

Wendi Smith
Office Manager

Wendi Smith joined our team in March 2009 as a receptionist. Wendi has several years experience in clerical & office administrative duties. She attended Athens Technical College before deciding to pursue her career at our office. Her smiling face has made her a favorite among our clients.
